GENERAL RENTAL CONDITIONS

  1. Guaranteed vehicle group

Once AVAL Rent a Car / ONUDRIVE (hereinafter “AVAL / ONUDRIVE”) has confirmed your reservation, through its collaborating companies (hereinafter “The Base”) we guarantee the requested vehicle group, not the brand or model shown.
If the requested vehicle is not available at the time of collection, Aval’s Base will try to provide you with a vehicle from a higher group for the same price.

  1. Airport Service

Aval / Onudrive will apply an additional charge of 80 euros on all vehicle pick-up services at Airport terminals where the customer is confirmed the possibility of this service.

  1. Service “Out of Hours, Sundays and Holidays”

For the collection or delivery of a rental vehicle outside the opening and closing hours of our offices, an additional amount of 30 euros per rental must be paid.

Likewise, deliveries and collections requested by customers on Sundays or Holidays will have an additional charge to the previous one of 30 euros more per rental and for each service (Deliveries) or (collections)

A charge of 30 euros per concept will be applied to vehicle deliveries/collections during office hours within the city limits

Likewise, a charge of 1.60 euros per kilometer in each concept will be applied to vehicle deliveries/collections outside the city limits, with a minimum charge of 30 euros.

  1. Service “One Way”

For collection in one location and delivery of the vehicle in another location, the amount corresponding to the One way will be added to the budget depending on the location (consult with the office)

  1. Additional drivers

The first contract holder driver is free. Each additional driver will have an additional charge of 15 euros up to a maximum of 50 euros per rental, to be charged upon delivery of the vehicle at the selected office.

  1. Driving license

All drivers (including additional drivers) must present a valid driving license on the day the rental begins, of which they have been holders for at least two years. Drivers from the United Kingdom must present both parts of the Driving License.

  1. Driver’s age

All drivers (including additional drivers) must be 21 years of age on the day the rental begins for all groups, except for groups G to P and 5 to 6, who must be 25 years of age.

  1. Accessories

We put at your disposal, in certain offices, chairs for children, ski racks, roof racks and snow chains.
Any accessory must be requested at least 48 hours before the rental date. The price per accessory will be 15 euros/day with a maximum of 60.00 euros per rental.

  1. Insurance / Franchises

Aval / Onudrive, in certain Bases, offers you the possibility of contracting for your car reservation an insurance that covers the damages caused to the vehicle (all risk FC) or with a franchise that varies according to the rented car group.
The Franchises that will be applied will be 600 euros in cars of group A to F, 700 euros G, H and J and 900 euros for groups L to P. For industrial vehicles a franchise of 800 euros will be applied from group 1 to 5 and 1000 euros for group 6 and higher.

If you have rented a vehicle with all-risk insurance with a deductible, the Aval / Onudrive Base may charge your credit card for the amount of said deductible, as a deposit to cover it.
This amount will be returned to you at the end of the rental, as long as you return the vehicle in the same conditions in which you received it.
In certain Bases, and at its exclusive discretion, the possibility of contracting an additional FC insurance that covers the amount corresponding to the franchise is offered. This FC insurance can only be contracted at the Base where the vehicle is delivered, on the first day of rental and paying directly the corresponding amount.

  1. What the insurances do not cover

– Any damage to the rims or tires.
– Damage to third parties due to negligence or inappropriate driving.
– Damage caused by refueling with an inappropriate fuel.
– Loss or damage to the vehicle keys or locks.
– Damage to the upholstery and/or the rear tray.
– Damage or loss of antennas, jack, safety triangles, vests and/or fuel tank cap and rear tray.
– Damage to the engine due to negligence.
– Damage to the underside of the vehicle.
– Misuse of the clutch.
– Theft of the vehicle with the keys in it.
– Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Speeding and parking tickets during the rental period are the sole responsibility of the vehicle driver.

  1. Payment method

Once Aval / Onudrive confirms your reservation by email or other written means, the customer must provide a credit card that is in their name, also indicating its expiration date and security code. Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club credit cards are accepted

Once the reservation is confirmed, AVAL / ONUDRIVE will charge your credit card for an amount corresponding to 15% of the total amount of the requested rental, as a reservation processing fee, and the customer must pay the rest at the Base, at the time of collecting the vehicle
Once the reservation is confirmed, and if the Aval office deems it appropriate, the estimated amount of the rental will be charged.

Likewise, upon delivery of the vehicle on the day of rental, a deposit of 200 euros will be paid using that same credit card or another one owned by the customer, to cover any reasonably foreseeable expenses that may be incurred during the rental (fuel, damages, days of delay in the delivery of the vehicle, etc.).

When the customer, without prior notice to the office, is delayed in the date and time of return of the vehicle, their credit card will be charged the amount of 15 euros for late return and the same amount, in addition to the rental prices, insurance and additional products, for each day of delay in the return.

Aval / Onudrive will allow its customers to cancel a prepaid reservation, which must be done through the e-mail cited on the reservation Web page. If the reservation is canceled during the 7 days following its completion and with a minimum of 48 hours before the scheduled rental date, the refund will be made in full. In no case AVAL / ONUDRIVE will reimburse the amount charged as a reservation processing fee.

When the cancellation does not meet these conditions, Aval reserves the right to charge an expense of 50 euros for administrative procedures. Refunds will be made to the credit card with which the reservation was made.
If you could not cancel your reservation before the pick-up date and do not pick up the vehicle on the scheduled date, we reserve the right to charge you a NO SHOW fee of 100 euros, in order to compensate for the non-use of the vehicle reserved for your use.

  1. Fuel

The Aval / Onudrive Bases always try to deliver the vehicle with a full tank and it must be returned as it was delivered.

In that case, you will be asked to pay the amount of fuel always at the beginning of the rental, amount that will be reimbursed upon return of the vehicle, once verified that the tank is as it was delivered.
In case it is not returned as it was delivered, you will be charged for the fuel consumed plus a charge of 15€ for refueling costs.

  1. Mobility limitations

The vehicles of AVAL / ONUDRIVE may not circulate outside of Spain, unless written authorization from AVAL / ONUDRIVE or the Base that rents the vehicle, nor may they be transferred by Ferry between the Balearic Islands, Ceuta, Melilla and the Canary Islands.

  1. Necessary documentation to pick up the vehicle

To pick up the vehicle, the customer must bring with them, the ID or passport, valid driving license, credit card and Aval / Onudrive reservation number.

  1. Prices

The prices and conditions that appear on this website are valid, except for errors or omissions.
Aval / Onudrive reserves the right to change prices and conditions when it deems appropriate.

  1. Fleet availability

Each Operational Base of Aval / Onudrive, has the fleet that it deems appropriate, so we regret not being able to offer in each location, the vehicle that you may wish to reserve.
Reservations are always subject to fleet availability on the dates and location requested.

  1. Taxes

The total amount of the rental will be subject to the payment of the tax that the law marks at that time.

  1. Aval

All references to Aval in these conditions refer to the collaborating Company that operates in each of the locations where AVAL coordinates and processes the reservation requested by the client that operates in the different locations of the Network.
